All Other Orchids

The orchids in this group do not necessarily belong together; they have been grouped here simply for organizational purposes.

The variety of orchids in this group makes it impossible to give general guidelines regarding their care. If you are interested in learning more about any of the species seen in these paintings, you can learn more by researching them on the Internet. The web site of the American Orchid Society (AOS) has a good selection of FAQ’s, as well as downloadable PDF culture sheets, which will be a great help in getting started. Simply go to their site and click on the menu tab “All About Orchids”.
One of the paintings in this group is very special to me because of the story behind it. Please click on the Stanhopea picture and read my little story about this plant.

Visit the website of the American Orchid Society for information about orchids and their care.
